Changing Your Windshield Wiper Blades - Video

Summary: Replacing your wiper blades is an easy car maintenance task that you can do in just a few minutes. This tip shows how easy it can be.

The following is the video's transcript:

Welcome to Tips.Net. Today we are going to be talking about changing your windshield wiper blades. Now you have to do this every year, no matter what, so let's go ahead and get to it.

First take out your new windshield wiper blades from their packaging and put it to the side. Your old windshield wiper blades will be locked into place by the bar. You can either put it on the windshield or put it underneath a cloth, but make sure that you don't turn on your windshield wipers—otherwise it's going to leave a big old scratch on your windshield. To reassemble your windshield wiper, just snap it into place, and you are good to go.

To get another look at it, we are going to go ahead and disassemble it here, while holding on to the actual mechanism of the windshield wiper. And come back with our new windshield wiper blades, and hook them into place. Tugging it securely to make sure it won't fall off.
